Openvpn Install

Openvpn for windows can be installed from the self installing exe file on the openvpn download page.

It has been designed to be as unobtrusive and universal as possible. Any other openvpn protocol compatible server will work with it too.

It is also possible to install openvpn on linux using the universal configure method. The version available here contains no configuration to make a connection although it can be used to update an existing installation and retain settings. Run the script and follow the assistant.

Remember that openvpn will only run on windows xp or later. The first thing you need to do to connect to ovpn is to download the correct openvpn gui for your computer. Then cd to the top level directory and type configure make make install.
